One Ball for All is a social impact initiative built on a simple, defiant idea: every kid should have a ball. We partner with non-profits, artists, and sponsors around the world to gather communities around the spirit of play.

Ball Detail
  • Up to 1,500 size 5 soccer balls to be produced
  • Given the short deadline on this initiative, use of already-completed artwork will be considered.
Artist Detail
  • One (1) artist will be selected with connections to at least one of the distribution cities
  • $250 honorarium
  • Connection to Variety – The Children’s Charity – and their mission is a plus
Timeline
  • Applications open: Now
  • Selection announced: ASAP – no later than March 20, 2026
  • Design finalized: April 1, 2026
  • Ball launch: June 2026

  • Dedicated storytelling content featuring you and your work – video, photography, social posts – distributed across One Ball for All and partner channels
  • A set of signed artist balls to keep, gift, or display
  • Inclusion in One Ball for All collections
  • A story that puts your name in the same sentence as a sporting events and communities around the world

What We’re Looking For

We’re not prescribing the design – we’re trusting the artist. That said, the work should feel:

  • Rooted in the energy, people, and culture of sports worldwide
  • Joyful and bold – meeting kids, communities, and cultures where they are
  • Designed for a ball – graphic, high-contrast work tends to translate beautifully on the curved shapes of sports balls
  • Inclusive and community-forward – reflective of all the kids, families, and communities who will join in play

Style is open. Muralists, illustrators, graphic artists, textile artistsall welcome. What matters is that you have a point of view and you want to work alongside us to bring people together.

  • Emerging, mid-career, and well-established artists and designers
  • Creators whose work is grounded in community, culture, or social impact

How to Apply

Send us the following:

  • A brief intro: who you are and why this project calls to you (no more than a paragraph)
  • 3–5 samples of your work (portfolio link or attachments)
  • Website and social media links
  • Your preferred project as listed above
  • Any early thoughts on direction, if you have them – not required, just welcome
