FAQ

Nope! Each selected artist will create one incredible work for the initiative. We (along with our amazing manufacturers) help to transition your art onto the sports balls for full-scale production.

No. One Ball for All is not asking artists to create work upfront at this time. We want to see your existing art and style so that we can align your art with the right initiative and cause to share its story.

The One Ball for All team works with the selected artist to design the ball for each initiative. Once the art is created, we capture high-resolution scans and photography to transition the artwork onto the ball. The high-resolution images are sent to the manufacturer for production, then delivered to activation cities for distribution. Each initiative approaches distribution in its own unique way with the non-profit and sponsoring partners.

Yes. We will share a template with the selected artist. The art does not need to be created directly on the ball or template. We will assist in scanning or photographing varied media types so that they can be applied to the ball.

The artistic medium is flexible! We are able to scan or photograph a variety of media at a high resolution to deliver the necessary images for ball production. For digital creators, vector file types (SVG, EPS, AI) are also acceptable and sometimes preferred.

Yes. Each ball includes logos for our partners and sponsors. We also place a QR code on the ball to connect to the One Ball for All digital experience. In some cases, our manufacturing partners require additional markings.

One Ball for All is very kid and family-friendly. We will not display anything you wouldn’t show your great grandma:

  • No drugs, alcohol, nudity, or related
  • No copyrighted material (without formal approval)
  • No political motifs or divisive symbols

Sports balls are not provided for art production, but the artist does receive a selection of printed balls as the activation commences.

Paint, brushes, canvases, work space, and other production materials are not provided at this time.

One Ball for All is an open opportunity for artists that want to be involved. While many initiatives need one artist and one design – some need many all at once. We aim to engage different artists for all of them. Submit your “application” above to learn about new initiatives as they launch.
